When I was young my granny had a photograph of her house taken from above, it always interested me, I think it was because it wasn't normal to see the house from that angle. When I discovered drones I bought one but that was over a year ago and Inever had any success with it, I watched many videos and read lots of material but couldn't get to grips with it. I spent four hours with Rob and now I think I've photographed everything from above. Real good guy and great teacher.

Very interesting for beginners. Excellent course, given by a professional who knows how to transmit his knowledge in a clear and easy way.

I had a basic understanding of photography, ISO, White balance, the exposure triangle etc, My wife gave me a drone for my birthday but for a long time I was fearful that I would crash it. I enrolled in the class and met up with Robert near to my home. We flew the drones, took photographs and made videos, I had such a good time 'playing' with my drone that the lesson was over before I knew it. Initially I thought that it was too quick and not such good value but I quickly found that I was confident flying and taking video and photos. I have read in other reviews that people learn in a relaxed fashion but didn't believe it. I know what they mean now I genuinely learnt without trying.

I definitely recommend this course if you are thinking about getting into drone photography looking for the fundamentals. I now feel pretty confident I can get started and that my learning curve will be greatly shortened thanks to the technology available today and a great roadmap of getting started. If you are already started... follow up with Lands End Photography classes, you won't regret it.

A great beginner/intermediate class that doesn't leave non-beginners bored. Robert has a great, laid back teaching style that's easy to follow.

Excellent class! It goes beyond beginner, but thats OK. The basics are all there and the exercises are worth it.
